Join us at Social Web Week!
Social Web Week is coming to New Haven, Connecticut July 10th through the 16th. The weeklong event is filled with some amazing panels covering nearly every aspect of social media and how it relates to local communities.
We're excited to be a part of Tuesday's discussion entitled "How Social Media is Enabling New Forms of Journalism." Also on the panel are Ben Berkowitz of SeeClickFix, Melissa Bailey of the New Haven Independent, and Olwen Logan from Shoreline Web News.
We'll be discussing how the Internet and new media tools are making it easier than ever for small startups to provide high quality content to hyperlocal audiences.
The panel starts at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13th at King's Court, 20 Grand Avenue in New Haven. All events are free and open to the public. A special thank you to the Social Web Week crew for putting together this packed week of outstanding discussion topics. Be sure to check out their website, Facebook, and the #swct tag on Twitter.
